Season 8 Scrap Book Here's the whole beginning of my old Season 8 site, I thought I would throw it up just for old times sake. Below it are more relics from the old days... ALL NEW SEASON... Tutte le interviste e punte di notizie sono falsificazione) For seven seasons, I watched Buffy not only for it's entertainment value, but because I was learning a lot from the show. It was like writer college for me. Because of this I wanted to see what I'd learned from the show. This season 8 is the result of that. My thesis. The challenge was to see if I could pick up where the series left off, and continue the show for one more season, as though it were actually on TV. I couldn't just write what I wanted, I had to make episodes that could (in theory) actually be made if the show went on. Budget was cut, actors would only sign on for so many episodes... it was a challenge indeed. I would also have to debut each episode according to a realistic TV schedule, accounting for sweeps, and all of the other quirky scheduling that would go along with being on a real network. Did I succeed? Well, I like to think so. Whether the scripts live up to the quality of the actual series is up to all of you to decide. Some ran over in time, but hey... it's my fictional network. If I want to give the show a few extra minutes, that's my decision to make. (translation : oops) Anyway, enough yammering. I hope you enjoy the scripts. This is, as with the rest of Season 8, completely fake! I thought that adding chats would help to give the season a more realistic feel. It was mostly just for fun. Check this out, old news updates from during the season! These are fake as well... but they actually served a purpose. They allowed me to reveal small bits and pieces about the season and the state of mind of the actors (well, fake actors) that were involved. Because I was attempting to create an actual Season 8 as it may have been, the actors attitudes played a large role in how the season progressed.
